The Sickness is unknown to be the result of being followed by The Operator, or the Masked Man. The sickness usually includes coughing violently. Many characters that are known to have The Sickness cough up blood. Alex, Jay, Tim, and Brian have shown signs of The Sickness. It also includes paranoia, aggressive behavior and blackouts.
